This isn’t one of my daily paintings, but was so thrilled to get the news today that I wanted to share. Cherries and Lace, has been selected as a finalist in the Still Life category of The Artist's Magazine 25th Annual Art Competition. Winners and finalists will be featured in the December 2008 issue of the magazine. I forgot that I even entered. What a nice surprise in my in box this morning! This painting was also previously featured in International Artist Magazine. It is currently on display at Premier Oncology cancer treatment center in Santa Monica, California.
