This is the latest Karin Jurick challenge......a plate of summer vegetables. Since I've been focusing on bees and bugs lately, I decided to add a little pest.
Wish you could have heard my laugh when I paged down and saw your entry - this was just what I needed to put a smile on my face! This is very fine, very fine indeed!!!!!
Thanks everyone for all your comments.... Lee, Dana, Priti, Claire, Gwen, Sylviane, Dominique, Carol H, Carol Nelson, Liz, Sheila, Deborah. I really appreciate you taking the time to write. This was the most fun challenge of Karin's for me so far.

Always glad when I can brighten someone's day! Long as you're laughing with me and not AT me :-}
Love love love your take on this challenge. Too funny and original! The large shadow makes the fly seem so ominous (Twilight Zone music)!
There were so many wonderful submissions to this challenge. It would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite.
Diane, your painting is striking!
The fly is funny, the tomato gorgeous, I like the mauve background.
It is a success, bravo!
