Here is this month's
Karin Jurick challenge. Her photo was of travelers at an airport. The pattern of the floor reminded me so much of my piano that I had to move them to the keyboard. Since they seemed to be so separate and uncommunicative I named this "Sounds of Silence" 9" x 12" watercolor on 300# arches

What a wonderful, fun idea Diane...Lilliputians in the 21st century. Love the title too.
That floor DOES look like piano keys. Clever interpretation and wonderful execution.
Its a beautiful rendition , the keys are exceptional.
This is just wonderful, Diane! You have such a good eye for seeing what a painting wants to be.

Funny, I thought of piano keys, too, but you had the chutzpa to do it! Very nice.
I just had to comment on this one, too. What an incredible idea for this challenge - so simple, but so profound. I love it.
