This painting is a little more expressionistic than my usual style. That's one of the reasons I like this daily painting adventure. I can try other techniques without a huge commitment of time. In fact, that's one of the main reasons I started doing these mini oils. I have over 200 ideas on my list of subjects to paint...not to mention the new ideas that pop up everyday. It would take 4 years to put them all to canvas in a larger format. This gives me the ability to work on all my ideas quickly while continuing with larger pieces at the same time.
