Client wanted a replica of Jean-Honore Fragonard's "The Love Letter" replacing the cocker spaniel with her two pups. Still a little work to do on the face and add the dogs. Almost done!

Fear of a blank canvas
Has anyone every been frightened by one of these....a blank canvas? Can be pretty intimidating at times. How about when you've got a group of people standing behind you waiting for you to create a masterpiece!
This will eventually become a bouquet of sunflowers. Very work-in-progress at the moment.

"Surface Tension" watercolor work-in-progress
Day two of what I hope isn't too many more. Must be finished by February 29th for a show... and that doesn't give me any time to have it professionally photographed. Wish I had started sooner! I'm going to slip it into a mat and frame I already have. "Surface Tension" watercolor full-sheet 22" x 30" Arches cold press.
