"Allusions of Grandeur" oil 6"x 8" My niece and nephew commissioned this acorn painting for my sister for Christmas. It is a companion piece to the "Pine with Cone" I did for her earlier.
This is exquisite - when I saw it come up on my blog roll, I had to hop over here to view the larger painting. That little glow of reflected light on the underside of the acorn is perfection.
