Juicy, too

I like to do more than just one arrangement of a subject. This is the second of several watermelon paintings to come. My main goal is to take simple everyday objects and invite the viewer to take a closer look. I strive to transform the simple everyday object into an un-ordinary, not-so-still life by using strong lighting and reflective surfaces to create drama.
