Cream Puff for Amanda

A bride-to-be had registered for two of my paintings as wedding gifts on http://www.myregistry.com/ She wrote to tell me that one of them, the cream puff had been sold and asked if I would consider painting another. How could I refuse. It's the same cream puff as the first, but with a slightly different angle and lighting. This one is especially for Amanda. I hope some nice wedding guest will get it for her.

Oh this one is just a little nicer. The cherry is illuminated a little more and almost looks like a cabochon ruby! You're such a sweetie to do this.

I never was satisfied with the cherry on the first one, and had planned to fix it. But, it sold before I got to it. It was fun to do this and I particularly concentrated on the cherry. Thanks for noticing. You've got a good eye! That's why you were good at your job.

This looks yummy, beautifully painted. What a good idea to put a painting on a wedding gift list. Love your other paintings too.

Thanks Diana. I agree. Art as wedding gifts is a great idea. The online gift registry doesn't even have a category for art. I'm going to try to change that!
