Connect the Dots daily painting

Another cupcake...no calories. This one took forever. I say again that it is easier to paint larger. I could have easily done a 12" x 12" in the time this 6" x 8" took. Painting alla prima...all in one session....sometimes makes it difficult to add shading, etc. When the paint is still wet it's difficult to layer. When trying to darken an area the brush can actually pick up the underlying color and blend for a not-so-dark result. Tricky business this business of art.
